🪔Monthly Shrāddha Dates Based on
Amāvasyā Tithi
This program helps generate monthly Amāvasyā Shrāddha dates. The following guidelines are recommended for observing monthly Shrāddha rituals:
1. Tithi (Lunar Day):
The most important factor is observing Shrāddha on the same tithi (lunar day) on which the deceased passed away. This is known as Māsika Shrāddha (monthly Shrāddha).
2. Paksha (Fortnight):
It is also recommended to perform the ritual during the same Paksha, either Krishna Paksha (waning phase) or Shukla Paksha (waxing phase) in which the passing occurred.
3. Monthly Observance (First Year):
For the first year after the passing, Piṇḍa Dāna and related Shrāddha rituals are traditionally performed every month on the corresponding tithi of the death, typically for 11 to 12 months.
Please consult a qualified Pandit for proper guidance and ritual accuracy, as traditions may vary by region and family practice.
